In order to be able to join the DeFi ecosystem and create your own decentralized apps, you need to use the suitable Web3 tech stack. The stack includes several layers:
- The first layer is blockchains.
- The second layer is nodes.
- The third layer is APIs.
- The fourth layer is Web3 development platforms.
Beyond an infinitely scalable node infrastructure, decentralized storage like IPFS, and suitable APIs, you need the means to build and manage digital assets. It means that you need to be able to program, mint, send, receive and burn tokens. These tokens will further serve as currency or property assets in DeFi.
